Theater Manager
IMAX 3D at Patriot Park, National Infantry Museum and Soldier Center,
Columbus, Georgia
The National Infantry Foundation is seeking a Theater Manager for the new IMAX 3D at Patriot Park. The 300-seat theater will open in March 2009 at the new National Infantry Museum and Soldier Center. The facility is in Columbus, Georgia, and adjacent to Fort Benning, Home of the Infantry and one of the Army’s largest installations.
The successful candidate will:
* Manage the theater’s business plan.
* Identify and implement new revenue opportunities.
* Ensure quality film and guest service experiences.
* Hire, train, supervise and evaluate theater staff.
* Work with museum marketing staff to promote the theater and achieve attendance goals.
Each candidate should have at least 3 years of giant screen theater management experience. Experience in launching a new theater operation is preferred but not required. The candidate must be an energetic self-starter with strong communication and organizational skills. Salary will be based on qualifications and experience.
